EN
This article is an attempt to describe the specificity of the cognitive paradigm in research of the mind. Cognitive science is an interdisciplinary scientific study of the mind and its processes. Cognitive science consists of multiple research disciplines, including: linguistics, neuroscience, philosophy of the mind, the science of artificial intelligence, cognitive psychology, etc. Each of these disciplines usually emphasises different aspects of the phenomenon using its own methods. Therefore, such analysis does not necessarily include the main ideas existing within a given subject. Although cognitive science presents a methodological diversity, the studies are based on philosophical and methodological assumptions that define the cognitive paradigm.
