EN

The subject of the article is the psychological conditions of the decisions about starting higher education. It was found that the test sample was characterized by moderate levels of motivation, self-esteem and the average level of evaluation of their own life. The results suggested that low levels of psychological variables may be caused by the traditional model of adult education.
