Krzysztof Kamil Baczyński died on the 4th August 1944. This year is 70th anniversary of his death and Warsaw Uprising. He was the greatest hope of polish poetry in the opinion of literary critics, first of all Kazimierz Wyka. Baczyński had special individual style and his late poems are full of catastrophic visions. The most famous poems are sung by Ewa Demarczyk. Her original interpretation made War poems by Baczyński extremely popular after 1965. The film Baczyński directed by Kordian Piwowarski in 2013 is an unusual film biography where director included poetic slam, evidences of poet`s death witnesses and elements of regular feature film.
