While corruption is rarely considered to be a determinant of economic growth, its influence on the operations of domestic and international companies is significant. Accepting corruption and trying to combat it or exploit it are common attitudes companies display towards this phenomenon. The problem of corruption is a topical issue because it is one of the key determinants of stability in the investment environment in a host country, which to a large extent determines the forms of entry for enterprises into foreign markets.
