Rozważania ujęte w artykule koncentrują się na normach wynikających z treści art. 10 ustawy o dystrybucji ubezpieczeń. Dotyczy on tzw. pakietyzacji usług ubezpieczeniowych z innymi rodzajowo usługami lub sprzedażą rzeczy. Komplementarność świadczenia usług ubezpieczeniowych rodzi zagrożenie misselingu. Stąd dążenie prawodawcy do ograniczania swobody w zakresie dystrybucji ubezpieczeń poprzez dodatkowe obowiązki informacyjne nałożone na pośredników ubezpieczeniowych, do których przede wszystkim adresowana jest poddana analizie regulacja.

This article focuses on discussing the standards laid down in Article 10 of the Insurance Distribution Act. It concerns the so-called packages of insurance services and other services or sale of things. Complementarity of the provision of insurance services poses the threat of misselling. Hence, the legislature desires to limit the freedom of insurance distribution by additional information obligations imposed on insurance intermediaries, to whom the analyzed regulation is primarily addressed.
