"Notes on Modernism, Constructivism and Education" is to recall the relations between the pioneers of Modernism and Constructivism and their extraordinary enthusiasm for the formation of a "new society" and the shape of modern artistic and design education. Artists such as Malewich, Kandinsky, Lissitzky, Strzemiński, Gropius, Moholy-Nagy, Albers, Max Bill created new curricula and schools such as Bauhaus and WCHUTEMAS. Later they were joined by: New Bauhaus, Black Moutaing Collage or HfG Ulm. These schools initiated new curriculum principles such as: functionality of design, introducing a close relation between design, art and industry, increasing the social role of art and design, standardization and modularity in design, team design. After ten decades, these ideas became the curriculum foundations in teaching design.
