In this section, we present the audits that the Supreme Audit Office has carried out in selected areas, and that have been published in the form of pronouncements on audit results. In this issue of our bimonthly, we present the following audits: supervision of road investments; protection of shorelines; management control mechanisms; local taxes; execution of court decisions; construction investments related to energy effectiveness; bodies responsible for the monitoring of energy security; maintenance of the oldest municipal buildings; search for missing persons; use of funds from the State Fund for Rehabilitation of the Disabled (PFRON); ecological farming; funds assigned for the development of rural areas; organisation and maintenance of bathing beaches; self-governmental hospitals; functioning of healthcare services for older people; activities of regional chambers of accounts aimed at reducing public debt in self-governments; exploitation of ores; fishing areas; palliative care; health and safety in public schools.
