97th Anniversary of the Establishment of the Supreme Audit Office – ed. This year is the year of the 97th anniversary of the establishment of the Supreme Chamber of State Audit, upon the decree by Head of State Marshal Józef Piłsudski. On this occasion, a seminar was held in the headquarters of NIK, in tribute to late Professor Lech Kaczyński and late Professor Walerian Pańko during which their scientific achievements were discussed. IT Support for Audit – Conference at NIK NIK, in cooperation with the Institute of Internal Auditors IIA Polska organised, on 15th December 2015, the conference entitled Use of IT audit support tools (CAATs) in audits in public sector institutions in Poland. Entities responsible for auditing in Poland were invited to participate in the conference. Experts on the Improvement of Road Safety During the conference organised by the Supreme Audit Office (NIK) eminent experts discussed the situation on Polish roads and proposed solutions tat could improve traffic safety.
