Wskaźnik zatrudnienia osób z niepełnosprawnością w Polsce jest jednym z najniższych w OECD. Przyczyny są różne, jednak bez wątpienia istotny jest fakt, że system państwowy system wsparcia tych osób na rynku pracy jest nieefektywny. Celem niniejszego artykułu jest przedstawienie sytuacji osób z niepełnosprawnościami na polskim rynku pracy, a następnie systemu rehabilitacji zawodowej OzNI oraz efektów jego funkcjonowania do 2017 roku. W tym celu autor przeanalizował dostępne dane statystyczne oraz przepisy prawa. Wskazał na zatrudnienie wspomagane jako alternatywą dla obowiązującego systemu opartego o PFRON.

The employment ration for the disabled is one of the lowest in the OECD. The reasons for the situation are several but it is without doubt the most important is the fact that the support of the state welfare system these people is ineffective. The purpose of this article is to present the situation of people with disabilities on the Polish labor market, and then the OzNI system of occupational rehabilitation, as well as the effects of its functioning until 2017. For this purpose the author analyzed the available statistical data and legal provisions. He pointed to supported employment as an alternative to the current system based on PFRON.
