Audit findings for publication in August and September 2014. In this section, we enumerate the audits that the Supreme Audit Office has carried out in selected areas and that have been published in the form of pronouncements on audit results. In this issue of our bimonthly, we present the following audits: the financing of state and private nursery schools; the activities of the Central Sport Centre (COS); closing of public schools; the use of investment funds by the maritime administration; the electronic supervision system; cancer treatment; protection of big city inhabitants against noise; investments in environmentally-protected areas; personal income tax related to sales of real estates; purchase of estates for construction of national roads by the State Treasury; the management of state horse studs; the system for the implementation of the Structural Policy; promotion activities of cities; the “School Equipment” government programme; collection of liabilities for the National Insurance Office (ZUS).
