The aim of this paper is to describe the role of urine therapy in medicine and present the state of research into its practical application. Supporters of urine therapy stress that it has a therapeutic effect on a wide range of diseases, which include acne, psoriasis, fungal or bacterial infections, sinusitis, migraine, asthma, colds, diabetes, Lyme disease, hemorrhoids, depression, stomach ulcers, candidiasis, and even AIDS and infertility. Unfortunately, the curative effects of urynotherapy have not been confirmed by clinical tests. Currently, this method is enjoying great popularity but a more detailed study of its effectiveness and quality should be conducted
