A portrait of Anna Teichmüller – Carl Hauptmanns Muse This text presents the most important information from the biography of the german composer Anna Teichmüller (born 1861). The reconstruction is based on her letters to Carl Hauptmann from the years 1899–1920. Mutual inspiration of the two artists, their everyday life with all its difficulties or the unpublished facts from the life of Anna Teichmüller are only examples of topics that can be found in the correspondence.
