Przepowiadanie Billego Grahama teologicznie i metodologicznie było stałe od pierwszej do ostatniej krucjaty. Stworzył on model kaznodziei, który stosuje nowe techniki głoszenia słowa Bożego, ale nie rezygnuje ze starych, stanowiących ewangelikalne dziedzictwo. Uczył wypracowanej przez siebie postawy kaznodziei wobec grzesznika charakteryzującej się współczuciem zakorzenionym w miłości Boga. Pokazywał, jak przekazać przesłanie Ewangelii we współczesnym świecie. Niniejszy artykuł ukazuje w jaki sposób Graham przygotowywał się do głoszonych przez siebie tekstów. Przy tym uwzględnia źródła jego inspiracji oraz sposób w jaki je werbalizował. Rozpatruje także autorytet i prostotę cechujące kaznodziejstwo Grahama; a także duchowe tło organizowanych przez niego krucjat ewangelizacyjnych.

The Billy Graham’s preaching theologically and methodologically was stable from the first to the last crusade. He formed the model of a preacher who know how to use a modern technique of proclaiming God’s word, at the same time not giving up the old ones, evangelical heritage. He taught the attitude of a preacher toward the sinner characterised a compassion rooted in God’s love. He showed how to communicate a message of the Gospel in the modern world. This paper unveil how Graham prepared his sermons. It takes into account the sources of his inspiration and the way in which he had verbalised them. It resolves authority and simplicity characterised Graham’s preaching and a spiritual background of the crusades organised by him.
