Szczepan Władysław Kreicarek (1901-1963) był harcerzem, chirurgiem, bohaterskim uczestnikiem kilku wojen, organizatorem przemyskiej służby zdrowia, a w końcu lekarzem w Anglii. Walczył w I wojnie światowej, wojnie polsko-ukraińskiej i wojnie polsko-bolszewickiej, a następnie był kurierem plebiscytowym na Spiszu i Orawie. Po ukończeniu w 1931 r. studiów lekarskich we Lwowie pracował jako chirurg wojskowy i w tym charakterze uczestniczył w Kampanii Wrześniowej 1939 r. Wraz z oddziałem został internowany na Węgrzech, skąd zbiegłi przedostał się do Francji, a po jej kapitulacji na Wyspy Brytyjskie, skąd odkomenderowano go do Normandii, gdzie leczył polskich żołnierzy. Od 1945 r. mieszkał w Anglii, praktykując jako lekarz.
Szczepan Władysław Kreicarek (1901-1963) was a scout, surgeon, hero of a few wars, organizer of the health care system in the town of Przemyśl in Poland, and GP in England. He fought in Great War, the Polish-Ukrainian war, the Polish-Bolshevik war. He was a plebiscite courier at the southern-Polish territory of Spisz and Orawa. In 1931 after graduation of medicine in Lvov he worked as a military surgeon and as such figure he participated in September Campaign of 1939. Interned with his unit in Hungary, he escaped to France and after its capitulation arrived to England. Detached to Normandy, Kreicarek treated Polish soldiers there. Since 1945 he practised as GP in England.
