The international financial cooperation is essential to ensure international financial system stability and thereby should contribute to improving the economic and social situation on a global scale. Today's global challenges require transnational resolutions, based on worldwide multilateral cooperation. The international financial cooperation involves a wide variety of participants, formal organizations, but also informal fora. The Group of Twenty is perceived as the primary forum for international economic and financial cooperation.
