Artykuł prezentuje zagadnienia dotyczące niektórych aspektów prowadzenia sklepu internetowego w kontekście e-logistyki oraz elementy przyczyniające się do prawidłowego funkcjonowania takiego sklepu. Zwrócono przy tym uwagę na szybki rozwój Internetu, wyrażający się m.in. poprzez coraz powszechniejszy dostęp do sieci w Unii Europejskiej. Poruszono kwestie dotyczące wyboru asortymentu, wsparcia sklepów internetowych poprzez narzędzia informatyczne oraz czynniki związane z obsługą klienta. Podkreślono niespójność i brak jednolitych uregulowań prawnych obowiązujących przewoźników, co negatywnie wpływa na funkcjonowanie sklepu internetowego. Mimo tych przeszkód odnotowano postępujący wzrost liczby sklepów internetowych oraz sprzyjające perspektywy na przyszłość.

The article describes issues related to certain aspects of running an online store in the aspects of e-logistics, as well as the factors which can enhance the proper functioning of such a shop. Issues addressed in the paper range from assortment choice, support of online stores through IT tools, to the factors associated with customer service: returns and refunds, and complaints. The Author paid attention to the rapid development of the Internet, expressed- among others- by quickly spreading access to the network in the European Union. The paper highlights the inconsistency and lack of uniform legislation for the transporters, which negatively affect the activity of the online stores. Despite these obstacles, there has been a progressive increase in the number of online stores and favorable prospects for the future can be seen.
