The purpose of the present article is showing justice as acceptance of inequality of subjects (God and man) in the context of reconciliation. First man has been described as one of the subjects of reconciliation. In the second part the essence of justice is shown in the context of the divine mercy, which does not wipe out justice, but improves and deepens it. In the last part there are presented ways of overcoming the impasse of non-reconciliation. One of them is the necessity of reinterpreting the concept of nature, avoiding blurring the difference of perspectives and at the same time seeking their unity. Another way is combining anthropology with ecclesiology. One more element of overcoming the impasse of non-reconciliation is returning to reinterpreting personal dignity and recognizing the greatness of human mind. Finally, there is understanding responsibility as a response to a calling. Such response is expressed not only in accepting reconciliation, but also in accepting justice based on inequality of subjects, where God himself becomes our justice.
