Coaching represents one of the contemporary methods of the development of people´s abilities and skills, which finds its usage also in the sphere of improving human resources in the managers´ practice. The coach functions as a coached person´s consultant. With the help of appropriate questions (asked to the coached one), the coach opens a space for the development of the original imagination, creativity and even many hidden abilities of the coached person. Coaching can have many forms. The most common forms are personal coaching and professional one. The professional coaching is in contrast with the traditional directive way of management, as this directive way fails in today´s extremely competitive circumstances . Thus coaching , as a method of employees´ development, can become a competitive advantage of many organisations. However, the essential fact is that coaching develops the man himself.
