W strefie wpływów „Hominternu”? Ruch mniejszości seksualnych w Europie Zachodniej

Sexual minorities established an international movement, which seems to have a strong political influence all around the western world. This article is written to present the history of this movement called “homintern” in last few decades and it’s development. The most important region here is Scandinavia, which is known as a place, where the political history of lesbian and gay people movement has begun. This is not the history of demonstrations but the history of political dialogue and tolerance as a process. Apart from Scandinavia, European Union rised as a world leader of giving to sexual minorities wide social rights. This is one of the most important effects of the european integration. Sexual minorities are protected by many directives and other EU law acts. Also new members of the organisation are obliged to implement them, what causes sometimes a lot of social resistanse. One of the reasons why sexual minorities have established so successfull political movement may be the political correctness as a main characteristic of western world’s politics. Similar process have already begun in the countries that are deeply west-oriented, for example new EU members.
