Artykuł poświęcony jest prezentacji rozwoju orientacji na przyjemność w konsumpcji i konsekwencjom tego rozwoju dla marketingu. Główny przedmiot rozważań stanowi konsumpcja przyjemności. W opracowaniu poddano analizie zmiany wartości konsumpcyjnych w kierunku orientacji na przyjemność. Przedstawiono przesłanki kształtowania się tej orientacji w konsumpcji. Skupiono się na opisie cech charakteryzujących konsumenta przyjemności i wzorów jego zachowań w sferze konsumpcji. W celu opisu specyfiki konsumenta przyjemności przedstawiono wyniki badań nad zachowaniami konsumpcyjnymi ukierunkowanymi na zaspokojenie potrzeby przyjemności. Wskazano na wyzwania stojące przed marketingiem w związku ze wzrostem trendu na poszukiwanie przyjemności i przygody w sferze konsumpcji.

The article is devoted to presentation of development of the orientation towards a pleasure in consumption and consequences for marketing. The main subject of deliberations is consumption of pleasure. In his study, the author analyses the changes in consumption values towards the orientation on a pleasure. He presents the premises of formation of that orientation in consumption, focusing on the description of features characterising the consumer of pleasure and patterns of their behaviour in the sphere of consumption. In order to describe the specificity of the consumer of pleasure he presents the findings of surveys on consumer behaviour aimed at satisfaction of the need for pleasure. He also points out to challenges faced by marketing due to the growth of the trend to seek after a pleasure and adventure in the sphere of consumption.
