Z okazji inauguracji portalu prezentującego materiały z I wojny światowej (Europeana 1914-1918), w dniach 30-31 I 2014 r. zorganizowano konferencję naukową w Bibliotece Państwowej w Berlinie (Staatsbibliothek zu Berlin – Preussischer Kulturbesitz). Referaty dotyczyły problemów związanych z tworzeniem kolekcji cyfrowych on-line, aspektów edukacyjnych dotyczących wykorzystania cyfrowego zasobu do nauczania historii oraz obecności Wielkiej Wojny w świadomości społecznej.

On the occasion of the inauguration of the portal presenting materials from World War I (Europeana 1914–1918) there was organized a scientific conference in Berlin State Library (Staatsbibliothek zu Berlin – Preussischer Kulturbesitz) in January 30–31, 2014. The presentations focused on issues related to the creation of digital collections on-line, educational site of the use of a digital resources for teaching history and the presence of the Great War in the public consciousness.
