The thesis I put forward in my article is that of an essential role of blogs as an incredibly efficient communication platform in the times of media convergence. This communication tool plays a particularly important role in PR activities of a university - a tool with the help of which functions of a university can be realized as well as those which are realized by the highest level of PR development - in 2-way symmetrical model of Hunt and Grunig.
