This research has been conducted to determine the heavy metal (Cd, Co, Cr, Cu, Fe, Mn, Ni, Pb and Zn) accumulation in the fish species Carp (Cyprinus carpio Linneaus, 1758) and Fatty fish (Phoxinellus anatolicus Hanko, 1924) taken from Suğla Lake, which is one of the most important water sources of Konya. In this research, conducted in 2009-2010, the heavy metal accumulation was examined in the time span of one year seasonally. And it has been concluded at the end of the research that the heavy metal accumulations show statistical dramatic differences between the seasons (p<0,05).
