Die Edukation disponiert über einen Komplex von Zielen in der einzelnen Stufen des Erziehungs- und Bildungsprozesses. Das fundamentale und allgemein formulierte Ziel ist allerdings die Persönlichkeitsformierung. Im Rahmen des Beitrags wird dieses Ziel aus der Perspektive der in der slowakischen Pädagogik bevorzugten Konzeption der kreativ-humanistischen Bildung und Erziehung betrachtet. In der Mitte der gesamten Edukation steht eine Person in ihrer Einmaligkeit - die Persönlichkeit. Sie ist durch zwei partielle Ziele formiert: durch die Personalisation, d. h. der Mensch soll eine einzigartige Persönlichkeit werden, und durch die Sozialisation, d. h. im Verhältnis zu einer Sozietät. Ohne diese zwei Komponenten der Edukation würde es unmöglich, über eine Persönlichkeitsformierung zu sprechen.
