The author studied verb compounds in Standard Polish, children's talk, etc. and inflected type with synonymous compounds (uniflected type puk-puk, człapu-człapu, krętu-wętu etc. and inflected type with synonymous compounds e.g. stuka-puka, or co-hyponymic compounds e.g. czyta-pisze, widział-słyszał/ 2) compounds of no equivalence: emotionally indifferent e.g. śpi-chrapie, or expressive e.g. prosodic integration and a certain word-formation model of various lexical realization. The author points out the existence of isomorphism of typical colloquial verb-compounds with some noun-compounds (widział-słyszał similar to ojciec-matka, stuku-puku sim. to ecie-pecie etc.) where the lexical function of verbs is not as weak as in the written standard language where it is dominated by syntactic functions.
