It has been show in this paper that we can the process of “mathification” both in natural science and socio-economic research. It is considered as the way for scientific development. It has been discussed if the character of socio-economic research allows for the full application of quantitative methods. According to the arguments provided, the methodology of social life statistics can be considered as a special branch of statistics.
