The author of the article informs about a menhir about 3 meters high, which seems most likely to had gone unnoticed by megalith researchers in Poland until now. This megalith, with its pointed apex which is characteristic of many other menhirs, is commonly covered by roadside bushes, and is located on the left side of the asphalt road leading from Dębieniec to Grudziądz (closer to Turznice). Perhaps it was once a part of some cromlech. The article also recalls a megalithic stone circle from the vicinity of nearby Błędowo, now lost, and the fact that during the construction of the palace in Dębieniec by the end of the 19th century, traces of a still pagan cemetery were found, while the box graves discovered on that occasion were completely destroyed. It is also worth mentioning that a processed, massive boulder of about 3 m. (a remnant of a former megalith?) has been preserved in the palace park to this day. Deprived of a top, now it resembles a tree trunk.
