Zaburzenia ze spektrum autyzmu ujawniane przez dzieci stanowią dla ich matek poważne wyzwanie. Z tego powodu matki dzieci z ASD doświadczają stresu o zdecydowanie większym nasileniu aniżeli matki dzieci z innymi rodzajami niepełnosprawności lub zaburzeń w stanie zdrowia. Stopień natężenia stresu zależy jednak od różnych czynników, które można uporządkować w obrębie trzech obszarów dotyczących: indywidualnych cech matki, indywidualnych cech dziecka oraz kontekstu sytuacyjnego. W artykule przedstawiona została analiza wybranych stresorów, które na podstawie przeglądu literatury można uznać za istotne w obrębie wspomnianych trzech grup czynników. Jednak ze względu na złożoność problematyki stresu, przestawionej listy potencjalnych stresorów nie można uznać za zamkniętą.

Autism Spectrum Disorders disclosed by children pose a serious challenge for their mothers. For this reason, mothers of children with ASD experience stress of a much greater intensity than mothers of children with other types of disability or health disorders. However, the degree of stress intensity depends on various factors, which can be organized into three main areas concerning: the individual characteristics of the mother, the individual characteristics of the child, and the functioning of contextual elements. The article presents an analysis of selected stressors which, based on literature analyzes, can be considered significant within the three areas mentioned above. However, due to the complexity of the problem of stress, the presented list of stressors should not be considered as completed.
