Stanisław Białek from Warsaw city, resident of Miednik village, located south of Vilnius, drew up his last will in 1553. It is an interesting paper because of the early use of the Polish language in this type of record. The last will was drew by a resident of a small town who his social status owed to military career. The paper is distinguished by the original time provisions connected with individual records of the last will, which were to be invalidated in the event of Białek’s resurrection.
