The purpose of this article is to present methods used in therapies for children andadults who have difficulties with communication or are unable to communicate with the use ofa conventional speech. The AAC strategies help in the process of language development in mind.The strategies provide a wide range of solutions that are helpful in the improvement of interactionswith other people. The Augmentative and Alternative Communication is not only a tool forcommunication but also a support of the process of socialization.
