Antialcohol policy in the Russian Federation The article focuses on the presentation of public policy as the main tool in the fight against the phenomenon of alcoholism on the example of the Soviet Union and the Russian Federation. The main aim is to analyze the current situation, the disclosure of the scale of the phenomenon and identification of some of the tools in the fight against the problem.The first part of the work presents the current situation in Russia. The second section discusses the main sources and causes of alcoholism in Russia. The third part shows the effect of alcoholism on the state budget. The last part introduces the tools of modern Russian antialcohol policy on the background the policy of prohibition in the United States.
