EN

The essence of emotional intelligence - thanks to D. Goleman - is the issue to be addressed more frequently in relation to the education of children and youth. The increasing degradation of values, lack of empathy, inability to use the emotions makes it difficult for people to manage their emotions. Acts of aggression in school, addiction, nutritional problems, loneliness and depression among children, and finally the collapse of values, including those family related, are the issues, which contributed to the search for effective ways of mitigation. An analysis of the effectiveness of education clearly indicates the need for emotional education, which is the second, next to the rational intelligence, pillar of building a good quality of life. The need for it today cannot remain unnoticed.

Istota inteligencji emocjonalnej – za sprawą D. Golemana – jest kwestią poruszaną coraz częściej w odniesieniu do edukacji dzieci i młodzieży. Coraz większa degradacja wartości, brak empatii, nieumiejętność posługiwania się emocjami, sprawia, że trudno jest ludziom zarządzać swoimi emocjami. Akty agresji w szkole, uzależnienia, problemy z odżywianiem, samotność i depresja dzieci, wreszcie upadek wartości, w tym rodziny – to obszary problemowe, które przyczyniły się do poszukiwania efektywnych sposobów zaradczych. Z kolei analiza efektywności kształcenia wyraźnie wskazuje na potrzebę edukacji emocjonalnej, która jest drugim obok inteligencji racjonalnej filarem budowania dobrej jakości życia, jest potrzebą, która w obecnych czasach nie może pozostać niezauważona.
