Komeński introduced the science of the nature which included zoolo-gy, botany, geology, anatomy, basic knowledge of medicine, agriculture, geography and physical phenomena. Arithmetic consisted of the tasks taken from the sur-rounding world. Under the name of physics he understood the life of the nature and the knowledge of the arts crafts. He combined the magic and the study of the properties of some objects with the chemistry. Learning geography started with getting to know the immediate surroundings. He paid attention to the practical use of scientific knowledge and encouraged to carry out research and get the knowledge of the secrets of the nature.
