The paper deals with methodological problematizations in studying sense phenomenon in sociology, its production and translation in culture and society. Basing on the analysis of the ideas on that point developed in paradigms and vocabularies articulating attention on the sense (Weber, Schütz, Parsons, Luhmann, Deleuze) and related to different research traditions, as well as taking into account the modern versions of the discourse on metaphysics, the author brings forward a generalized analytical structure which has sociologic correlates and possesses the instrumental resource. Such a structure or a “matrix of sense orders” is formatted as a network of certainly inter-connected and inter-contingent notions and marks the contexts of investigating the sense perspectives, sense structures and constructs, as well as means and media of senses transmission in socium.
