In the present article, one presents the development of the Chilean philosophy in the last decades, putting special emphasis in the effects that there supposes the imposition of a neoliberal model, model who not only founds the economy but all the social interactions. The question of this work is why and what is done philosophically in Chile, which are the characteristics that the economic model inherited from the dictatorship, has generated in the institutions and disciplines. Thus, definitively, what occupies (or pre-occupies) to the Chilean philosophers, as teachers and investigators, for the comprehension and construction of his own housekeeping.

En el presente artículo, se presenta el desarrollo de la filosofía chilena en las últimas décadas, poniendo especial énfasis en los efectos que supone la imposición de un modelo neoliberal, modelo que no sólo funda la economía sino que todas las interacciones sociales. La pregunta de este trabajo es por qué y qué se está haciendo filosóficamente en Chile, cuálesson las características que el modelo económico, heredado de ladictadura, ha generado en las instituciones y disciplinas. De este modo,en definitiva, qué ocupa (o pre-ocupa) a los filósofos chilenos, como profesores e investigadores,para la comprensión y construcción de sus propios quehaceres.
