Artykuł przybliża zagadnienie wykorzystania różnych kanałów i technik komunikacyjnych w edukacji zdrowotnej współczesnego społeczeństwa. Pokazuje walory i bariery edukacyjne tzw. nowych mediów, w tym m.in. mediów społecznościowych oraz kampanii społecznych. Zwraca uwagę na to, iż kształtowanie odpowiedniej postawy wobec zdrowia, choroby i profilaktyki wymaga dziś zastosowania atrakcyjnych środków komunikacji.

The article describes the issues of using different channels and techniques of communication in health education in modern society. It also shows the educational advantages and barriers of so called new media, including social networking sites and social campaigns. The paper draws attention to the fact that modelling proper attitude towards health, diseases and preventive action require using attractive means of communication these days.

The aim of the article is to present examples of possibilities of physical activity of children with the help of new technologies offered to schools in times of in-creasing inactivity.
