Обсуждаются некоторые теоретические аспекты реконструкции мировоззрения и идеологии древних обществ, фрагментарно или совсем не отраженных в памятниках письма. Отмечается особая диагностическая роль формульных выражений для компаративной истории мировоззрений. Возможности применения методов компаративной филологии и компаративного религиоведения демонстрируются на примере анализа таких формульных выражений, как др.-инд. urúh lokáh и праслав. *vоlьnъ(jь) světъ.

This paper discusses chosen theoretical aspects of reconstruction of the ancient society’s world view and ideology reflected only partially or not reflected at all in literary monuments. The author draws attention to the particular diagnostic role and importance of formulaic expressions for the comparative history of world views. The possibilities of applying the methods of the comparative philology and comparative religion are demonstrated on the example of such formulaic expressions as OInd urúh lokáh and PrSlav *vоlьnъ(jь) světъ.
