Węch to zmysł, o którym jest niewiele informacji w literaturze. Kojarzy się głównie z czuciem zapachów. Oczywiste jest, że jest to tylko jedna z wielu ról tego zmysłu, co zostanie opisane w niniejszym tekście. W artykule zostaną także wyjaśnione pojęcia hiposmia i anosmia oraz opisane będą ich przyczyny. Cel artykułu to próba wprowadzenia nowego terminu – niepełnosprawność węchowa — oraz uzasadnienie jego powstania.

Smell is a sense that is poorly described in the literature. It is mainly associated with perceiving odors. It is clear that this is only one of many functions this sense has, which is described in this article. Also the concepts of anosmia and hyposmia along with their causes are explained in the article. Its aim is an attempt to introduce and justify a new concept - olfactory disability.
