Marnotrawstwo oraz działania zmierzające do jego identyfikacji i eliminacji stanowią jeden z kluczowych czynników stymulujących organizacje do wprowadzania zmian w sferze operacyjnej i finansowej. Celem artykułu jest analiza sposobów prezentacji marnotrawstwa stosowanych w metodach szczupłej rachunkowości zarządczej. W kolejnych rozdziałach dokonano charakterystyki koncepcji szczupłej rachunkowości zarządczej, wskazano najpopularniejsze metody zaliczane do tej grupy oraz omówiono zastosowany w nich sposób prezentacji marnotrawstwa. Opracowanie przygotowano na podstawie przeglądu polskiej i angielskojęzycznej literatury przedmiotu.

Waste and the ways identifying and eliminating it constitute one of the key factors that encourage an organization to implement operational and financial changes. The aim of this article is to analyze the ways of presentation of waste used in Lean Management Accounting. The following chapters, characterize the Lean Management Accounting, indicate the most popular methods constituting this group and describe the ways of waste presentation. The article has been prepared based on a review of Polishlanguage and English-language literature on the subject.
