In the article, the grammatical-semantic typology of verbs is considered. The morphosyntactic classes of verbs in the contemporary Russian language are noted. The reflexive verbs and the principles of their description are analyzed. New phenomena of reflexivity and its types in the Russian language are described, based on the semantic, derivational and syntactic criteria.

The article is devoted to the grammatical class of particles in the contemporary Russian language. The character of the particles as language units and their sign typology are analyzed. The author describes the semantics of particles (including their types and variation) and notes the changes taking place in the Russian language as well as the directions and modes of parts of speech development.
