The article concentrates on the relations existing between Iceland and the European Union. The author presents the history of the relations, underlining the process of adaptation of Iceland’s law and realization of the areas of negotiation within the scope of satisfying the accession-related requirements. He has essayed to prove the resulting influence of the political situation on Iceland in the aspect of the country’s accession to the Community.

W artykule skoncentrowano się na problematyce związanej z sytuacją kobiet na rynku pracy w Polsce ze szczególnym uwzględnieniem województwa opolskiego w kontekście realizacji Programu Operacyjnego Kapitał Ludzki w latach 2007-2013. Główna uwaga została skupiona na identyfikacji kluczowych kierunków działań w zakresie aktywizacji zawodowej kobiet. Dla uchwycenia wpływu PO KL na sytuację kobiet na rynku pracy w publikacji zestawiono dane ogólnopolskie oraz dane dla województwa opolskiego w ujęciu rocznym, w tym dotyczące liczby kobiet biorących udział w poszczególnych działaniach finansowanych z PO KL. W artykule zaprezentowano dane statystyczne ukazujące wykorzystanie środków z PO KL przez kobiety. Dane te obrazują zasadniczy brak wpływu środków unijnych na regionalny rynek pracy województwa opolskiego.

The article focuses on issues related to the situation of women in the labour market in Poland, with particular emphasis on the region of Opole in the context of the implementation of the Human Capital Operational Programme for the years 2007-2013. The main attention was focused on the identification of key objectives in the field of professional activation of women. To capture the impact of Human Capital on the situation of women in the labour market in the publication summarizes national data and data for Opole province on an annual basis, including those relating to the number of women participating in the different activities financed by the Operational Programme Human Resources. The article presents statistics showing the use of the OP HC by women, the data illustrate a fundamental lack of impact of EU funds on the regional labour market Opole province.
