Reliability is considered a virtue, a value, but most of all it is a basic principle of journalism. The aim of the thesis is to analyze journalistic reliability applied to selected commentary programmes which were shown on the Polish Public Television (TVP) in the period during which the subject of the controversial theatre play “Klątwa” (“The Curse”) was brought up in media discussions. Media content analysis has been chosen as the most suitable research method. The term of reliability is discussed first. Next media content analysis of the selected programmes is developed. In conclusion ethical standards of the Polish Public Television are applied to evaluate selected programmes.

The theme of holiness has been present in the teaching of the Church from the very beginning of her existence. A number of cultural, civilization or technological changes result in the formation of new guidelines for sanctity. The following analysis is an attempt to formulate some of them which concern technological development. The main purpose of this article is to find an answer to the question: How to manifest holiness in social media? The main message is based on the Church teaching on holiness, especially on Gaudete et exsultate, the latest papal document presenting this issue. Subject analysis of the materials (the Church teaching) has allowed the authors to suggest specific guidelines regarding holiness in social media.
