Gwałtowny rozwój gospodarki rynkowej powoduje zmianę warunków funkcjonowania przedsiębiorstw. Aby sprostać nowym wymaganiom firmy starają się zwiększać elastyczność działania m.in. poprzez rozwój systemów informacyjnych. Wykorzystanie technologii wymiany danych (M2M) pomiędzy firmami i systemami informatycznymi zapewnia dotarcie informacji do punktu odbioru w odpowiednim czasie i jakości. Celem artykułu jest przedstawienie możliwości oraz korzyści z zastosowania technologii M2M w przedsiębiorstwach różnego typu ze szczególnym uwzględnieniem użycia ich w logistyce odzysku.

The rapid development of market economy changes the business environment. To meet new requirements companies try to increase the flexibility and agility e.g. through the development of information systems. Using data exchange technology (M2M) between enterprises and IT systems provides getting information to the delivery point on time and in an appropriate quality. The goal of the paper is to show possibilities and advantages of applying M2M technology in various types of businesses with particular emphasis on their use in reverse logistics.
