The article represents an attempt to analyze the national peculiarities of Russian syntactic constructs in modern and dialectal speech in particular. The article reveals and describes the functioning of the interrogative sentences as a preferred and the most efficient construct in Russian dialogue. The author endeavours to trace the dependence of this functioning on the so called human factor or national mentality. The national priorities of communicant speech behavior are also the subject of consideration.
