Control and access to resources and trade routes have always conditioned and determined the position of a given country on the world stage and its wealth. For many centuries, the Middle East region has been one of the most important regions in the world, both due to its geographical location, as a link between East and West, and natural resources available to individual countries. Despite the enormous diversity of Middle Eastern countries and the danger of over-generalization, it is worth looking at the whole area, which in the future may become an important center in the global economy and an important point of world politics.

Контроль и доступ к ресурсам и торговым путям всегда обуславливали и опреде¬ляли положение данной страны на мировой арене и ее богатство. Ближний Восток на протяжении веков был одним из важнейших регионов мира – как благодаря своему географическому расположению в качестве связующего звена между Вос¬током и Западом, так и благодаря природным ресурсам, доступным для отдельных стран. Несмотря на огромное разнообразие стран Ближнего Востока и опасность чрезмерного обобщения, стоит взглянуть на весь регион, который в будущем может стать важным центром мировой экономики и важным пунктом мировой политики.

Geo-economics is an approach that, in general, looks at the links between politics and economy in the international arena. This article is an analyses overview of the presence of geo-economics strategy in the Polish-Russian relations. The author focuses particularly on the problems of investment, trade and energy.

Геоэкономика это понятие, которые в основном обращает внимание на связи политики и экономики на международной арене. Целю статьи является указание контуров геоэкономических стратегий в польско-российских отношениях. В частности, автор сосредотачивается на вопросах инвестиций, торговли и энергетики.
