Artykuł jest prezentacją wyników analizy treści "Panorama Północy" w zakresie problematyki walki o polskość terytorium byłego zaboru pruskiego. Magazyn "Panorama Północy" w PRL był dla mieszkańców Warmii i Mazur jednym ze źródeł wiedzy o historii, kulturze i północnym regionie Polski. Gazeta wypełniała zalecenia ówczesnych władz w opisywaniu historii, ale także podejmowała w tym zakresie własne inicjatywy.

The article is a presentation of the results of content analysis “Panorama Północy” in issues related to fight for independence of the territories of the former Prussian partition. Magazine “Panorama Północy” in PRL was for the residents of the Warmia-Mazury one of the sources of knowledge about history, culture and the north region of Poland. The newspaper fulfilled the recommendations of the then authorities in describing history, but also took its own initiatives.
