W latach 1895–1914 przez redakcję „Lecha” przewinęło się 25 redaktorów, którzy decydowali o treściach publikowanych w piśmie. W tej grupie przeważali ludzie urodzeni w Wielkopolsce, stosunkowo młodzi (między 20 a 30 rokiem życia), nieźle wykształceni. Część z nich posiadała już doświadczenie dziennikarskie, pracując w redakcjach Poznania, Kościana, Bydgoszczy. Ponad połowę można zaliczyć do grona dziennikarzy pracujących w tym zawodzie wiele lat. Wszyscy tworzyli pismo wartościowe, popularne, poruszające aktualne problemy społeczne i polityczne.

In the years 1895–1914 there were 25 editors working for “Lech” who determined the content published in the journal. The group was dominated by people born in the Wielkopolska region, relatively young (between 20 and 30 years old) and well educated. Some of them had already had experience in journalism, working in editor’s offi ces in Poznań, Kościan and Bydgoszcz. More than half worked in this profession for many years. All of them created the journal that was valuable, popular, touching current social and political issues.
