As part of the programm „Reconstitution of the memory of Poland“, a query was conducted in 2020 in the Archive of the Republic (branch of the Austrian State Archiv) in Vienna. It covered the documentary remnants of the First Republic of Austria‘s diplomatic representation in Warsaw. Diplomatic correspondence from the years 1927–1935 ist stored in the „Diplomatic Mission in Warsaw“ units. The review included 366 documents pertaining to Józef Piłsudski. They relate to his activities in the field of international, political and military relations in connection with the post of Minister for Military Affairs, The Inspector General of the Armed Forces and twice prime minister (2 October 1926 – 27 June 1928 and 25 August 1930 – 4 December 1930).

W ramach programu „Odtworzenie pamięci Polski” w 2020 r. przeprowadzono kwerendę w Archiwum Republiki (filia Austriackiego Archiwum Państwowego) w Wiedniu. Obejmowała ona dokumentalne pozostałości przedstawicielstwa dyplomatycznego I Republiki Austrii w Warszawie. Korespondencja dyplomatyczna z lat 1927–1935 przechowywana jest w jednostkach „Poselstwa Dyplomatycznego w Warszawie”. Przegląd obejmował 366 dokumentów dotyczących Józefa Piłsudskiego. Dotyczą one jego działalności na polu stosunków międzynarodowych, politycznych i wojskowych w związku z pełnieniem funkcji Ministra Spraw Wojskowych, Generalnego Inspektora Sił Zbrojnych oraz dwukrotnego premiera (2 października 1926 – 27 czerwca 1928 i 25 sierpnia 1930 – 4 grudnia 1930).
