This article deals with the functions and activity of the radio communication division of the Home Army in the Białystok District. The history of this department is presented, starting from its creation in March 1944 (after the dissolution of the Home Army in the Białystok Area), to its disintegration as a result of a manhunt conducted by the Public Security Office in July 1945. During more than a year’s activity, the Białystok District sent dozens of dispatches – both to the Polish authorities in London and to Command Headquarters. These dispatches concerned various and sometimes very important matters, which included reports outlining the prevailing situation in the Białystok region, in particular the extent of the Soviet occupation.

Der Aufsatz befasst sich mit der Funktionsweise und Tätigkeit der Funkabteilung des bürgerlichen Bezirks Białystok der Heimatarmee. Sie analysiert die Geschichte dieser Division von ihrer Gründung im März 1944 (nach der Auflösung des regulären Białystok-Bezirks der Heimatarmee) bis zu ihrer Auflösung im Zuge der Fahndung des Amtes für öffentliche Sicherheit im Juli 1945. Im Laufe der mehr als einjährigen Tätigkeit der Division hat der Bezirk Białystok mehrere Dutzend Depeschen an die polnischen Behörden in London und an das Hauptquartier versendet. Sie präsentierten verschiedene wichtige Informationen, während andere die vorherrschende Situation in der Region Białystok, insbesondere das Bild der sowjetischen Besatzung, darstellten.

Artykuł porusza zagadnienie sposobu funkcjonowania i działalności pionu łączności radiowej Okręgu Białystok AK. Analizuje dzieje tego pionu, począwszy od jego utworzenia w marcu 1944 r. (po rozwiązaniu Okręgu Białystok AK), po jego rozbicie w wyniku obławy Urzędu Bezpieczeństwa Publicznego w lipcu 1945 r. W trakcie ponadrocznej działalności pionu Okręg Białystok nadał kilkadziesiąt depesz – skierowanych zarówno do polskich władz w Londynie, jak i Komendy Głównej. Prezentowały one różne informacje, czasami bardzo ważne, inne natomiast nakreślały panującą na Białostocczyźnie sytuację, w szczególności obraz okupacji sowieckiej.
