The article focuses on the comparison of the budget structure of the City of Włocławek commune and the commune of Brześć Kujawski in the years 2015–2019. This topic is very important because the budget is necessary to fulfill all the tasks of communes. Budget decisions also directly affect the lives of everyone in them. The article also addresses such issues as the comparison of the share of individual sources of income and expenditure according to the budget classification and the division according to the purpose of destination.

Artykuł skupia się na porównaniu struktury budżetu gminy Miasto Włocławek oraz gminy Brześć Kujawski w latach 2015–2019. Temat ten jest bardzo istotny, ponieważ budżet jest konieczny do wypełnienia wszystkich zadań gmin. Decyzje o budżecie oddziałują również bezpośrednio na życie każdego ich mieszkańca. Artykuł porusza także takie kwestie jak porównanie udziału poszczególnych źródeł dochodów i wydatków według klasyfikacji budżetowej oraz podziału ze względu na cel przeznaczenia.
